Popperfoto is the UK's oldest and largest independently-owned image library. It was founded by Czech photo-journalist Paul Popper in 1934.

Our archive contains more than 14 million images, including Herbert Ponting's complete photographic record of Captain Scott's fateful 1910-1912 Antarctic voyage, together with breathtaking colour photography from WWII.
